Biography

Dr. Sha Md. Shahan Shahriar is an Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. His scholarship spans environmental chemistry, water and wastewater treatment, heavy metal pollution and risk assessment, environmental monitoring, and food safety — with an extensive peer-reviewed publication record in journals including Food Control (Elsevier), Toxicology Reports (Elsevier), Journal of Food Composition and Analysis (Elsevier), and Environmental Science and Pollution Research (Springer Nature).

As a member of the Joint Advisory Team (JAT) of the Kekuleon Research and Training Center (KRTC), he contributes academic guidance on curriculum design, applied training methodology, and laboratory infrastructure — helping align KRTC's programmes with internationally benchmarked standards in environmental and analytical chemistry.
